Baines School fully recognises the contribution it can make to protect children from harm and to support and promote the welfare of all children who are registered pupils at our school. We are committed to working to establish and maintain an ethos where children feel secure and are encouraged to talk and are listened to. We ensure that children know that there are adults in the school who they can approach if they are worried or are in difficulty and we include in the curriculum activities and opportunities to develop the skills, which equip children to stay safe as well as helping them develop realistic attitudes to the responsibilities of adult life.
Child Exploitation and Online Protection
CEOP helps any child or young person under the age of 18 who is being pressured, forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity of any kind. You can visit the CEOP Safety Centre for information and advice and make a report directly to CEOP.
