Baines School has achieved Bronze Award Status in the Food for Life Partnership Programme! We are the first secondary school in Lancashire to have achieved a Bronze award and would like to thank the Catering Department for their hard in work in achieving this.

On the 9th May 2011 the Food for Life Cooking Bus will be visiting Baines School, and will be open throughout the week before departing on the Friday 13th May. Baines School is proud to announce the launch of it’s new gardening group; ‘Slug Club’. Pupils are encouraged on learning about growing a variety of herbs and vegetables. Slug Club is open to pupils in years 7 8 and will run on Thursdays after school from 3pm – 4pm with snacks provided. For more information… Read more »
