How to support your child in Media Studies:

Students need to be ‘well-read’ in the Media – going beyond their usual media consumption and out of their usual media ‘habits’. Encourage the reading of a range of national newspapers, watching television and films they would not necessarily watch, and so on.

AQA Media Studies A2: Student’s Book (Nelson Thornes) – a useful book of resources and revision notes

Revision Express AS and A2 Media Studies (Pearson Education) – another excellent book of theories and terminology, very easy to use and follow
