GCSE Results

Excited Year 11 students (and proud families) picked up their GCSE results this morning and we are delighted that, once again, so many of our students have done extremely well and are ready for the next phase of their education.

Our students have worked incredibly hard for their results in an ever-changing educational landscape. We celebrate their successes and are exceptionally proud of the contributions that our students have made to the school and wider community during their five years at Baines School.

In both mathematics and English, 18% of our students achieved the highest grades 7,8 or 9 and these subjects have both achieved above the national average.

As always, we have numerous students who have surpassed expectations to achieve extremely pleasing results. They have shown remarkable resilience and their positive attitude coupled with hard work has paid dividends.

Below are just a few individuals who have achieved particularly highly in terms of A*’s and A’s.
